|Why, why, why…
So we are two weeks into the year and, like me, you may be two weeks into your new training plan. I started my 100days of training, you can check it out here in my private group.
New Years resolution or not we all try to get ‘back on the wagon’. And, how is that going??? Yep, tough isn’t it? It’s so easy to say, ‘I’ve done 3 days this week, I can rest today’… ‘sure, I’ve been good all week I’ll just have one glass of wine’… And before you know it, you start slipping back into that same old routine with the same old results.
So, to help you this week, and as you go along, I want you to remember your WHY.
What is your WHY? Why are you doing this, what is your reason for clocking up the miles or hitting the gym? There has got to be something, something that motivates you.
This is who motivates me, my 3 girls… they are the best. And, being a good husband and father is what motivates me to get out of bed at 6am and go for a run!
So find your why, be it health related, body shape related, pschologically motivated, whatever. Why are you doing this and how will achieving your goals make you feel?
Write it down. I am doing this because …. and I am going to feel … when I achieve this. Keep this information close at hand and when you feel like you want to skip a session or pick up some cake, then read it!
So, remember why you started this journey and remind yourself how you will feel when you accomplish your goals.
Start by doing something…
Take one step today, another tomorrow, another the next day and so on.
